Who We Are
Milele Museum is a groundbreaking digital platform dedicated to preserving and celebrating Africa's rich cultural heritage. Founded by a collective of young African creatives, researchers, and cultural strategists, we aim to reconnect African communities with their ancestral artifacts—many of which remain housed in foreign museums. Through immersive technologies like gaming, 3D scanning, and interactive storytelling, we bring African heritage to life, making it accessible to everyone, everywhere.
The museum debuted its Virtual Reality platform in 2023, and in 2024 it will deliver a web experience. Milele Museum actively engages in on-site research and workshops, collaborating with African communities and cultural institutions to educate on pre-colonial traditions.
